We arranged our wedding from Perth at Vilagrads Ohaupo Winery, Hamilton. During the arrangements, Vilagrads recommended we stay at the Anglesea Motel as they offered transport to and from the Winery for all guest staying at the Anglesea. We approached Anglesea on this and given the numbers that potentially could be staying at the motel, we were offered either a discount on the rooms or transport. We opted for the transport and made our family bookings with the Anglesea Motel and contacted our out of town guests and suggested they also stay there.
The decision to stay at the Anglesea Motel was by far the best decision we made in relation to accommodation. The two Townhouses and Units available to us were excellent and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy family evenings on the balcony. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated our requests as best they could. Mark and Lorena were perfect hosts and went out of their way to ensure our wedding day was stress free and ensured the transport to and from the reception was all organised. Our thanks also to Casey for her fantastic assistance in managing all our wedding accommodation booking arrangements and changes.
Anglesea Motel is a perfect place to stay for weddings with large families and guests and we have no hesitation in recommending this motel to friends and family in the future.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Anglesea regularly for the last 18 months. There is a welcoming greeting, with complimentary beverage, when you arrive.
The units are well presented, and are spotlessly clean. All staff are friendly. The spa bath was a great way to relax at the end of a busy day. There is also ample car parking for all units. I found it convenient to have a supermarket nearby. (I could return home with the weekly groceries).
I have always been well looked after, and would recommend the Anglesea to everyone.
I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

My partner, son and I would like to extend a big 'thank you' for our wonderful stay at the Anglesea Motel! Firstly we were impressed with the helpful and friendly service. Secondly we were impressed with our lovely room (Studio Spa). It was fresh and clean and very welcoming. Thirdly, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary drink each (beer, wine or orange juice)! We were greeted by happy, smiley faces everywhere, clean and tidy facilities and nothing was too much trouble! What an absolute pleasure it was to stay with you! Your staff are a huge asset and I commend them for their cheerful, professional manner! Earlier on this year I booked both the conference and accommodation facilities at Anglesea. We have found that the service was beyond our expectations and every need was catered for. Most of the people involved in the conference felt at ease and satisfied. So much in fact that they have asked that we stay at Anglesea once more prior to the year ending. The staff are friendly, helpful and available. The facilities are well provided for and wonderfully presented. We would not hesitate to recommend the Anglesea Motel for both a day conference or an overnight stay.

My personal experience at the Anglesea Motel has always been very welcoming and have felt safe and well looked after.
I am a regular guest who has been a part of the furniture for the last ten years and, will enjoy many more to come. On arrival the staffs at reception greets me with a friendly smile, juice milk or a glass of wine... magazines and whatever you would require for a home away from home stay... By the way they do great breakfast and I believe there conferences are exceptionally well catered for.
All expectations are exceeded at the Anglesea Motel, along with excellent customer service (fantastic team).

The Anglesea Motel is a great venue for sports teams having just stayed there with our hockey team. The town houses are ideal for teams with full cooking facilities and a big lounge but still with bedrooms catering for two people and sleeping up six in the town house. They are very quiet even on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with little traffic noise. It is ideally situated being only about four minutes from the Hockey turf. The hosts and staff are extremely accommodating and if meals are required their caterers are fantastic.

I regularly use venues throughout the Waikato region to run training sessions and have been using the conference facilities at the Anglesea Motel and Conference Centre for several months for my Hamilton sessions.
The location is superb with plenty of free parking. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The standard of service they provide is excellent.
The conference facility is one of the best in Hamilton. The catering options are great and I am very impressed with the complimentary tea and coffee on arrival, the complimentary whiteboard, data projector and other equipment.
I certainly have no hesitation in recommending the Anglesea Motel and Conference Centre.

I would like to taket his opportunity to offler a formal recommendation for The Anglesea Motel.
My family and I had the pleasure of being acommodated by the Anglesea Motel when we first arrived in New Zealand on 28th January 2006. We stayed at their motel for 2 weeks whilst we found a rental property for ourselves. We found them to be friendly, organised, efficient, extremely competent, and have an excellent rapport with their clients. They also went over and above what you would normally expect from a business. I feel that they made our transition from England to New Zealand an easier one than it would have been and feel that they are a deserving and canidate for your business.
I would highly recommend The Anglesea Motel for any tender or endeavor that they may seek with your company. They would be a valuable asset for any organisation.

It has very comfortable rooms with access to the gym facilities at the local squash/tennis club which was ideal for me.
The staff are great - very friendly and very accommodating.

Our Project Team has utilised the Anglesea Motel for the duration of our project for 2yrs
The hosts Lorena & Mark have gone above and beyond to service our teams’ needs, nothing is too much trouble for them so from this perspective, I would say their Service is ‘exceptional’.
My partner and I have also spent a night in one of their units. It was very clean and self contained with the Queen bed in a separate room to the main room.
In comparison to other motels I have stayed in, mostly for business purposes, and some of these are from major chains - Anglesea Motel ranks at the top in regard to presentation of their rooms.
The motel is in a very central location which means everything is at your finger tips and I can’t say we were bothered by any noise; in fact, we had a great night sleep. No one from our team has ever had a bad word to say.I highly recommend this motel.

As a guest at the Anglesea courtesy of Solid Energy for 4 weeks in July/August 2009 I cannot rate the motel highly enough. We found our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. All the staff are polite and friendly and made us very welcome. Owners Mark and Lorena Morris are amazing and helped us settle in to the motel and the country, they were so kind and made our stay feel like home from home. The accommodation is spacious, of a high standard and well equipped. Their location is excellent within walking distance to the city and a major supermarket just over the road.

I have been staying at the hotel for over a year now.
Each time I come to the hotel I am greeted with a smile and friendly service.
The quality of service provided (from breakfast in the morning to coming back in the evening to a clean, spacious, bright and warm atmosphere) is top notch. Location of the Hotel was a bonus with a choice of good restaurants, supermarkets, sports arenas, central city a walking distance and health clubs nearby. I enjoyed the Hamilton Squash club gym membership and utilised this functionality fully.
Anglesea was the hotel of my choice.
The team has a nothing is “too much” approach and customer service is impeccable.
I really appreciated my stay at the Anglesea and was very much made to feel as part of home away from home. This was a great feeling especially when work was stressed out and you could find a place to chill out.
I really recommend Anglesea to any travellers.

I guess you would describe me as a bit of a regular at the Anglesea with approximately two stays per month going back perhaps five years. I have seen the inside of a fair few motels around NZ over the last ten years. Yet when I come to Hamilton there is only one choice for me. I will even wait to get in if I have left the booking a bit late.For those people who travel on a regular basis, having a place to stay that feels welcoming and naturally comfortable is an essential element to balancing the time away from home. Mark and Lorena offer a level of warmth and hospitality that indeed makes you feel like being at home. Take this, and add in the location to supermarkets, walking distance to CBD, Waikato Stadium, tennis courts, and river walks, it is a great place to stay. The quality and presentation of the rooms is to an excellent standard, always. The rooms have that great home feel and plenty of space. For those of us who need to catch-up with work in the evenings the free broadband connection is just awesome and is really good value.
I guess you will understand that even when I am not on business visiting Hamilton there is still just the one choice for myself and family. It goes without saying that the Anglesea comes highly recommended, be it for the regular traveller or the occasional visit to Hamilton.

At present I am a very regular traveller to Hamilton on business. I choose to stay at the Anglesea motel complex. From the very first time I arrived I was greeted by friendly smiling faces. The quality of the accommodation, facilities and services is excellent. The location is great; just a stones throw to some of the large supermarkets, some nice restaurants and cricket and rugby stadiums as well as a gym close by. Only about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Hamilton to the main shopping centre. All the staff are great and I appreciate getting breakfast and the paper delivered each morning. I would certainly recommend the Anglesea to any travellers looking for accommodation in Hamilton
